‘Do Yourself Proud’ on Friday 18th March
Friday 18th March was Sport Relief Day and we were raising money by having a special non uniform day. Our staff and pupils came to school dressed in their favourite sports kits to represent an inspirational person.
During the day we had a special assembly when were reminded of the reasons for Sport Relief. Some pupils celebrated their sporting inspirations and our Bronze Sports Ambassadors lead the Sport Relief song. Classes 2W and 3S were also presented with prize fruit baskets for winning the healthy class of the term award. To finish assembly KS1 and KS2 had an exciting basketball shoot out competition. The culmination of Woodcroft’s Sport Relief day was a surprisingly competitive staff netball match!
