Another eventful week at Woodcroft! It was national Anti-Bullying Week, and we have taken part in a number of activities including Odd Socks Day! We also played our first cup match of the football season, took part in the Primary Maths Challenge and attended an Infant Music Festival. The week came to a climax with Children in Need day. Woodcroft Remembers! Our pupils and staff all observed a two minute silence together at 11 o’clock on the main playground.
Top Class Results for Woodcroft!
We are pleased to report that Ofsted has placed Woodcroft in the top band of schools for academic achievement. In a report sent to all schools last week, and based on this year’s pupil results, Woodcroft is in the TOP 20% schools nationally! Woodcroft pupils turned the school into a carnival of colour today when they came in national dress or the colours of a flag. This is a day when we truly represent our school motto – ‘Together Towards Success’ – and show the wonderful diversity of our community.

We also welcomed Marcus, from Food Bank Aid North London, to talk about their vital work and to judge our hamper competition.
