At Woodcroft we always support Children in Need, and this year was no different! Thank you to everyone for supporting our annual non-uniform ‘Pudsey’ dressing up day. This year’s theme, Let Your Kindness Shine, was the climax to Anti-Bullying Week. Pupils dressed in bright colours, wore yellow and were definitely shiny and sparkly!
Anti-Bullying Week kicked off with Odd Socks Day on Monday 15th November. We encouraged pupils to wear different multi-coloured socks – the crazier the better – to demonstrate how we are all unique individuals. take a look at some of our colourful footwear. Read about our amazing success in this week’s national Time Tables Competition, England Rocks! Get ready for ‘Anti Bullying Week’ next week with ‘Odd Socks Day’ on Monday and Children in Need on Friday. We also publish our tasty winter menus from the kitchen. Finally, thank you to everyone who supported this year’s Poppy Appeal. Pupils took part in an impeccably observed two minutes silence together on the playground at 11 o’clock on Thursday.

Fill the ‘Harvest Basket’ Coin Collection
This year our aim was to also ‘fill a harvest basket’ with loose change. We certainly did that! The basket was so heavy by the end of the day that we could barely move it from the stage 😉 We will report on the amount collected next week!
