On Thursday 5th November the families of Year 4 pupils were invited to a very special showcase performance of our All Ears project. The audience were treated to a feast of music and movement that included bicycles, basketballs, ukuleles, space-hoppers and balloons to name but a few of the elements.
This show was the culmination of a six week Unicorn Theatre collaboration project with musician Greg Sinclair. It has involved the entire school from Reception to Year 6 working together. At the end of the show we had to say a sad goodbye to Greg and thank him for the work he has done while at Woodcroft. Report written by Tallulah Taylor (Year 4)
On Monday 22nd of June 2015, Year 4 went to Paradise Wildlife Park. We hoped that the weather would be nice and it as it turned out it was wonderful.
We saw the five of the biggest cats in the world such as the jaguar, snow leopard, lion, white lion and the white tigers! The terrifyingly intense bat house had a stench so strong it made it hard to breath. The funniest thing at the park were the hilarious meerkats. We found out that they they come from the Kalahari Desert in Southern Africa. The trip was absolutely Fabulous. We enjoyed all of the day and we would all love to go back . There were parts of Paradise Wildlife Park we did not see, but what we did see was amazing, spooky and hilarious. Thank you to our teachers for organising this great experience.
Woodcroft’s J Rock Club visited Northway school on Friday 5th June to take part in a morning of dance. Woodcroft and Northway have done a number of shared dance projects together over the past few years, including joint pieces at the Barnet Dance Festival. Each school performed for each other and then the pupils made new friends in through variety of physical activities and dance.

The safety of children online is a serious matter. The links below give support and advice on how to keep safe online.
Keeping up with children’s use of technology is challenging for many adults and it can be hard to supervise what they are viewing & creating online, who they are chatting to and texting, and what they are downloading. Many children may well have better technical skills than the adult but they still need advice and protection when using the internet.
Remember, if your child is ‘logged in’ and using Woodcroft’s online services, these are safe and monitored.
To help us improve our curriculum and support we ask parents and carer complete an online safety questionnaire by clicking the image below:
