Year 2 Show: The Three Wise Guys

Year 2 put on a wonderful Christmas Show on Monday 13th December. However, this year it was a little different because we went online! Parents could either watch the Livestream event on our YouTube Channel or via a separate recording posted later in the day.

Despite not having a live audience, aside from Mr Guest and Mr Tallon who were in charge the technology, the children performed beautifully. Well done also to all of the Year 2 Staff for organising such a fantastic production. Did you know that the script and music was all written and recorded by Mr Guest as well?

At Woodcroft we always support Children in Need, and this year was no different! Thank you to everyone for supporting our annual non-uniform ‘Pudsey’ dressing up day. This year’s theme, Let Your Kindness Shine, was the climax to Anti-Bullying Week. Pupils dressed in bright colours, wore yellow and were definitely shiny and sparkly!

Odd Socks Day

Anti-Bullying Week kicked off with Odd Socks Day on Monday 15th November. We encouraged pupils to wear different multi-coloured socks – the crazier the better – to demonstrate how we are all unique individuals. take a look at some of our colourful footwear. Some pupils had even visited https://andyandtheoddsocks.com/  and completed some of his creative challenges!
